AUT – Albany Auckland

Woodkraft recently completed a remarkable installation at the AUT Akoranga Campus in Auckland, contributing to the ongoing evolution of this educational space.

This project involved extensive wood detailing around a central staircase and seating area which has become a hub for students to meet. The detailing extends across the site with the meticulous installation of oak flooring on the stairwells, landings, and risers, and expert craftsmanship on the surrounding architecture. The result is a functional yet visually appealing addition that complements the modern learning environment, creating a cohesive space where form and function meet.

The generous use of wood not only serves as an enhancement to the campus’s aesthetics but also plays a key role in fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
